How to manually eject a disc from PS3 slim

This video shows you how to eject a disc from your PS3 Slim without electrical power, I hope it helps. NOTE: DO NOT USE ON A HEALTHY PLAYSTATION. Apologies for poor sound quality. A few captions added for anyone who can read but perhaps not understand my spoken English!

@TheAfricanmanbutWhyt pass. Give it a try. It might be that there is no game in there afterall, or that the game isn't sitting properly in the mechanism. I am no expert so I suggest if this does't work for you then take your console to a specialist.

@xboneava It shouldn't./ As long as you leave the s warranty sticker in place. It was actually the guy on on the line at Sony who told me to try this when I told him of the problem after they agreed to replace the console. If in doubt give the Sony helpline a call, they were super fast and very helpful with me, unlike many call centres they actually have some common sense and will listen so try calling them about it first to be on the safe side if you're unsure

I tried this but now theres loads of shaking going inside of it. Sounds like broken bits clattering around Is it something busted? I'm so pissed off its awful

@MrMattyvibes I don't know, however it certainly doesn't sound too clever. I tried to preface this video with a warning only to use this only if there is no other way of ejecting discs. In my case it had YLOD and was being replaced. Maybe try taking it to a shop for a professional to take it apart and have a look.

I did it and it worked. And for my surprise there were 3 discs inside....
