Just listen to his voice when he sings "When all the birds fly away"! It gives me chills it is so beautiful. I know he is known for his unbelievable high tenor voice, but his lower register is pure sex appeal... there are very few singers who can go from their low register to their high so smoothly... of course very few male singers have a 5 octave range, they are either tenors or baritones... not both. His voice has aged a bit, but he still sounds better than singers half his age.

I'm from argentina I love it the last record this band, thanks for me making to feel a lot emotion. Go ahead A-ha keep working next step.

I can feel a little Depeche Mode in this music
-
why can't I accept the music of 80's bands in nowadays? OMG, I'M SO RETRO!

well I'm from germany and I had to buy the album in the UK in London cause it was sold out here...
I have the same impressions like you.
I can hear on the whole album the effect of Depeche Mode. Riding the Crest sounds almost like a song from Speak and Spell. Fortunately this is a much better album than the new D.M. release and they have still a very tipical A-ha sound.

Loving this song so much!!!
It's so nice to hear Morten use his lower registry. He's got such a wide range.
I've been a fan for a long time and it's amazing to me how they manage to keep on making music of such high standard. There's some real gems on each and every album. On Foot Of The Mountain there are several. A must have for all A-ha fans!
