4:43 they can't throw the hairs at you, the only way to come into contact with them is to handle them. So lets handle them. LOL!!!! haha when you say it like that you make it sound as though you want the hairs on you

She actually found the cricket on her own, she likes to hang near the top, she's pretty calm unless you startle her, I still haven't came to the determination what sex she is, I'm going to wait for her to molt, just to be sure:) :) :)

Stand it vertically. These are arboreal species and do best in taller setups. Just put a piece of plexiglass or hard plastic to prevent the sub from falling out, and you're fine.

Do Avics require 83F degrees temperature or is it preferred?

@Damasta129
78-82F should be the preferred temperature. I've been keeping my adults in that temp, and they're thriving well

For a 1.25 inch spiderling what size enclosure would be right? I have a plastic cookie container thats 6 1/2 inches across (16 1/2 cm) is it to big?

@jrnero2
that would be better for an adult. I use the 32oz delicontainers for Ts this Size and they love it.

Hey Jon, when I go to feed my pinktoe, should I put the crickets in front of her for her to see, I'm kind of used to terrestrials, she's only 2 inches and she's in a ten gallon tank, so should I just put them in front of her

Zach, personally a 10 gallon is too much for a 2'' juvenile A.avic, I have an 8 inch full grown P.regalis in a 10 gallon and I find it too big. I would buy a lot smaller cage, like those Exoterra Nanos.
At this point you will have to tong feed her. With a cage that is so large for a T so small..the avic will have a hard time finding food if you leave them out
