Question:

The video said that the information comes from Memory, and external influences. I noticed that it left out the thinking process. Now i am no doctor, but i do undertsand that information that goes into a decision includes past experiences, as well current state of mind such as positive negative sad jealous current emotions as well thoughts and concepts that might be turned internally and not part of the external environent.

Could some one clarify please??

Its true that by the time the info gets oversimplified as far as a youtube video, it can be helpful to further investigate the thinking behind the ideas in order to understand.

When I say memory im oversimplifying to include all previous, habitual and immediate thought processing. The point is, often we dont think past the habitual responses and then we make decisions without clear perception.
