Wow.. if that's 2nd place I'd hate to see last... since when do you turn your back to the felony vehicle... why close the driver door? A weapon could be there. Whatever happened to the keys? The lead officer failed to maintain the tactical v when the cover started to cuff... not only said there was no command to cuff and the cover officer never gained control of the suspect before cuffing..

@Trendwin This is the Explorers program. It allows teens ages 14-21 to experience law enforcement.

@JackW0t You have to constantly yell in order to maintain a command presence. I know it sounds silly but acting weak and meek can get you killed . Going up to him and handcuffing him is a bad idea because you do not know if their is anyone else in the vehicle and they could kill you easily. The reason why they got second place was probably because they arrested him on the side of the vehicle. Please do not correct a fellow Explorer if you do not know what you're talking about, He did a good job.

I can see why 2nd place, but honestly first in my eyes. Another few things, no one is going to be constantly yelling at the suspect to do all those direction to get to the opposite side of your vehicle. Also I believe instead of all of that, your partner officer may need to go up to him, with your weapon, and arrest the driver. :D Good Job though. Criminal Justice is my 2nd choice as a career.
