@nostromokid They did not lose due to fearmongering, they lost because the Dems were out of touch with America and didn't listen to citizens. Health is important, but too many abuse it with wild living, drugs, booze, poor nutrition. Those who play with fire get burned, it's not my responsibility to pay their med. bills. Health reform will only force employers to lay people off. Don't blame Beck, blame the Dems who pushed their own agenda contrary to America's wishes.

I live in Mass. and we have universal healthcare which really stinks. The smaller hospitals are having big problems. It is not Romneycare at all. The first intention of him as governor was altered by the mini obat Deval Patrick. People who got on insurance did not want to pay for copays, kept insurance only when they went to hospital and doctor, and then dropped it. State middle class picked up the tab. Fewer doctors to choose from, longer waits in dr. offices, incompetent people working

@nostromokid You have a somewhat valid point, but there is more. This health plan is going to cost us dearly. My employer is furious, explaining to me the extra financial burden on him. This is just another expansion of government, growing bigger and intruding into our lives more and more. As far as the Dems who lost, their support of the bill played a big part. The financial burden of this bill outweighs the benefits. A monster out of control will only destroy.

Well, Nostromokid, your Mom is caught in the system. Medicare and social security were set up before I was born and right now those who worked for 30-35 years contributed to social security in every pay check. So, as I see it, anyone 55 and older would have to submit to these programs to survive the costs of RX's. Now with all of those who are not working and not paying in to support it? Now, how do you say to this government : Where did you spend the social security?

@nostromokid The health plan was passed by Democrats, none of whom are covered by the bill, but enjoy their own generous health plan. It is they who are the hypocrites.

@nostromokid I live in MA. and the program that Romney put in is NOTHING like it turned out today after socialist Deval Patrick handle the money and implemation. If socialists are running things, people get the short end of the stick, while the elites live big.

i see the 1099 tax form being used on all low paying jobs. 1099 is where you hire the worker as a company theirself and supply services as a company or sub company to work for them. this one person company will have to supply their own insurance as a company their self. I used it in the Air Conditioning company and did not have to worry about any thing but paying each employee a set amount of money and they worry about taxes, insurance, and company business ! 1099 Tax form is on it's way !

Thank you, America, for voting as you did on Nov. 2. Part of the problem is solved. Next, we've got to get Obama and all the liberals out of office.

I wish someone would give us an item by item - understandable, with as few words as possible - what is REALLY in this bill. Instead of 2000 pages, something we could print out in 10 or so pages. Is that possible?
@kmaninaz The NCPA has created a booklet called "What Does Health Reform Mean for You?", which is 50 pages (not 10, but certainly better than 2000!), explaining the health care bill and what it means for you. I'm sure you will find some answers in it. Apparently, I cannot leave a comment here with a link in it, but if you Google "What Does Health Reform Mean for You" the first link listed is the booklet I'm talking about.
