Hawkeye Herman / "Rocket To Chicago"

Upbeat original song with slide guitar accompaniment in the great tradition of blues train songs. Hawkeye reminisces about the Rock Island Railroad and uses his slide guitar technique to replicate the sounds of the "Rock Island Rocket" train traveling from his home on the Mississippi River in the Quad Cities (IA/IL) across the prairies of the Heartland to the LaSalle Street Station in Chicago.

I really really loved your performance in Cali Colombia this past saturday. It was special for me Hawkeye. As a young blues and metal player, you were a huge inspiration for me. It was touching... and my girlfriend tought you were so damn cool! i hope you'll come soon to colombia!
