when u showed the pacer i think it was fifth gear footage not top gear and the chevette and pacer isnt that bad ive test drove them and there pretty good

@bolensbuddy NO, they make good trucks and full size cars, these are just a few examples. Renault, Austin Martin, Datsun 210, 120Y, early Hundai Excel, Peugeot, Yugo, Fiat, Alpha Romeo, Daewoo, Kia, MG, Triumph, Morris, Citroen were all nightmares you foreginer's can't seem to remember.

I would have to say it was the chevette.I owned an 83 and and 77 model.Believe it or not the 77 chevette was a much better car than the 83.I traded the 77 for a mazda protege back in 94.You were right about most of the stuff you said the 83 had a real bad oil leak I was putting at least a quart of oil every other week.

@MrPekisha I bought my 1989 Yugo for $2,500, on 1990 with only 3,000 miles. Still have it, it's my commuting car. Still gives me 28-30 miles/galon. 21 years with me and seems will go for at least for 10 more, for me the key is good maintenance, and not abusing the car.

@YugoGV Agreed!!! If you pamper a vehicle and maintain it properly it will last forever.
However, In your case... I'd say you're also lucky ;)
