In remote back woods country on a small creek in North Georgia, AskaGuide, Malcolm, and Sadie show how to find and fly cast for wild Brown, Brook, and Rainbow's. Learn the jargon of the fly caster's hunt, see how a roll cast is done in low overhead conditions, and how we stalk wild trout. • The last time a stream jumped around that much I'd had way too many beers.

  • this video makes me dizzy

  • I've shocked Brookies out of the Smokies up in the high head waters and they are gorgeus fish!. I fish at the bottom where I know they stock Bow's so at least I can get one or two fish quickly. Towards top is fun. I take a telescoping spining rod about 7-8 feet and poke sinking flys in smal pockets. A 12 inch Brookie that high is a prize fish. I'm an Icthyologist so don't worry I'm using a barless hook and handle the fish more carefully than a newborn child. Acid rain has taken it's toll now.

  • @drdoubledover exactly

  • what kind of flies do you use for these small streams?
