I knew the driver. When I told her that the guy was going to die all she had say was "how many asian women drive a black toyota?". It was a shame she wasn't left to die when she overdosed one month earlier. She was going to score heroin when she killed the poor guy.

it's a heartbreaking news not only for people who recognise the family, but also for this pathetic society. apparently, the guilt of hit-run behaviour weighed so heavily on the killer's conscience that she knew the need to correct the crime behaviour. The tragedy has been made, it's time to repent and take the responsiblity.
To call upon the killer, you might be frightened when you hit the boy, yet you will be frightening for rest of life, if you not confess the behave.
