Boscov's Estee Lauder New Year's Makeover

Watch as our Cosmetics and Beauty Expert, Maria transforms Allison from beautiful to New Year's Eve knockout in less than ten minutes!

1. Apply your favorite moisturizer, in this case we are using Estee Lauder's Hydrabright moisturizer.
2. Use a light powder as an alternative to liquid foundation.
3. Use a soft shimmery bronzer to cheeks, nose and forehead to add a hint of color.
4. To soften your look add a loose shimmering powder along the cheekbones.
5. Before applying eyeshadow, use an eyeshadow base to avoid smudging, creasing and to keep shadow on longer.
6. Apply neutral shadow while base is still damp.
7. Use any type of silver shadow, shown here is Estee Lauder's Silver Moon. Apply to lower 1/2 of eyelid.
8. Use a black liquid liner for the most dramatic look. Liquid liner will also hold up the best through various weather conditions and from dry indoor heat. Use an eyeliner brush for the smoothest application.
9. Use a volumizing mascara to make lashes pop. Maria is using Estee Lauder's MagnaScopic Maximum Volume Mascara.
10. Use a lip liner and fill entire lip. Apply a clear gloss over liner, shown here is Estee Lauder's Pure Color Lipgloss in Clear. This will give you a shiny, pouty look. Re-apply the gloss as much as you'd like, but the pigment in the liner will last into the wee hours!

MagnaScopic is the worst (next to Cover Girl "Great Lash") mascara. I got a sample in a gift-with-purchase and it made my lashes look like tarantula legs. I tried it with the primer and the "legs" got even bigger--terrible!

@paradisola3 But still, i think it's more polite to just use the cotton buds, otherwise why would they be on the counter? How do you know it wasn't a customer? Anyway, the fact is, if estee lauder were to post a video about their service they'd have everything done perfectly - and at training that requires using cotton buds.
