  • Would a gaming PC even need over 8 gbs of RAM? cause like, these guys at the shop kept telling me i'd need up to 10 Gbs for a really good gaming PC, but i see people running GTA IV on Max with only 4 gbs, I guess its the GPU that really counts right?

  • I personally use 8GB of memory in my setup. GTA IV uses the memory on the graphics card. I would recommend getting a graphics card with a lot of memory. GTA IV is very memory intensive. My 4870 with 1GB memory gets maxed out really easy on GTA IV. I can't even play at the highest settings.

  • Intel Core i7 2600k or intel core i5 2500k is the best processor for gaming pc's...

These processors have more clock speed and turbo frequency....these processors also support integrated graphics that is Intel HD 3000...

  • gddr3 LOL!

  • 2009!!

  • Nice video, thanks for posting!

  • very nice!

  • Can i haz that PC? pleeeeease!?

  • Gaming doesn't require that much RAM, it tends to come in more handy for other appications such as video editing, photoshopping and heavy multitasking. For the average gaming system I'd say 4GBs on an 1156 board or 6GBs for a 1366 board. And if you are planning to make frag videos or do a lot of editing and multitasking go for 8GB on 1156 and 12GB on 1366 and even then, you'll find you have overhead memory to spare pretty much all the time.

  • BTW, why on earth CNPS9900 Zalman!??! WHY DO PEOPLE BUY THAT CRAP. Who buys such an expensive cooler with yet such a low performance. NOCTUA NH-D14. The best cooler you can get for its price. PPL don't buy that Zalman piece of crap.

  • You sound a bit boring. Your voice just sounds so tired that I could almost swear that you didn't sleep properly. Not that the things you say would be boring (of course not, I love hardware things :D), but ur voice.. It just sound so tired! Makes me tired kinda too.

  • Lol, I know a guy with 12 gigs of RAM and he's just like...Braggin' about it xD

Stupid bastard, like i guess the only thing you would seriously need that much RAM for would be if you were SERIOUSLY multi-tasking or something...like running virus-scans, defragmenting your hard drive, and running a HD video while playing a Game like GTA IV xD
