It was scary for a brief moment as this Detroit Western pitcher lies on the ground after being hit with a line drive in this Macomb County Spring Break tourney game vs. Harrison Township L'Anse Creuse. But he gets up, throws a few warmup pitches and remains in the game, although he was moved to shortstop.
This guy is one tough hombre. Many folks would be on their way to the hospital if they were hit with a line drive. Not only does he avoid the dreaded trip to the hospital, he stays in the game. Wow!
Western ends up beating L'Anse Creuse 7-2. Western was eventually eliminated in the tournament by Macomb Dakota.
