@incubus96 your arguments are subjective. Once a value is assigned to suffering, a very strong argument can be made that the cumulative value of suffering and the nature of biological life trumps your subjective experience. It's entirely possible that it's unethical to reproduce. It seems the arguments were not weighed and you're giving a knee jerk subjective reaction. The "addiction" argument applies because your life is meaningless and one will defend their process as if they are an addict.

here's a list of some of the countries that consume 1/10 the resources per capita of the united states: North Korea, Iran, Jordan, Indonesia, Haiti, Ecuador, China.. Yeah, those are some real high quality human existences there. Just because Inmendham says "fact" doesnt make it so. The only places with decent quality of living and low resource consumption are basically tropical paradises.

i kind of disagree with your analysis because you are saying that this ride is rickety while others might think its the bees knees. also some might say that this civi is quite organized and controlled, not sloppy. and also you say stop reproducing unless what? we make the world a better place? if we stop reproducing there will not be anyone to make it better.
