I was one of the first cars on the new M3 motorway in Co Meath Ireland when it opened today at 4pm to the public ,here is a drivers view of the new motorway from the navan - johnstown access slip road up past garlow cross and the famous hill of tara area where all the protesters were campaigning. if you watch closely around 3.20 you will actually see some anti-M3 banners still flying from the overpass.

  • Them protesters wer smelly wankers

  • The demons have a faster route through Eire now.

  • The Celtic Dead Pussy Cat struts its stuff over the corps of its heritage. Erse.

  • Great road, knocks 1 hour off the Cavan-Dublin route.

  • I was travelling Navan to Dublin - ie the opposite lane to you so you couldn't know what was on the road surface. :(

  • @seanjmcgrath I was also one of the first people driving on the M3 coming out of Dublin and there was no loose debris, your talking shit

  • Compliments

  • I drove it at 4.30 pm - 30 mins after it opened and was shocked at how much stone and loose debris was on the road surface - my car was pelted with stones all the way from Navan to Dublin.
