oh man nostalgia such an excellent game for its time, and the music tracks are still memorable today

why do feel the need to change the names for the American public? genesis instead of mega drive, fatal frame instead of project zero.... ok that's all I can think of now but it makes it kinda confusing talking to my American friends

@coulthard1984 For the Sega Mega Drive definitely. On SNES it would have to be Final Fantasy IV V VI.
Sonic is better than Mario too.

@Cam3leon Only problem is, by pulling music from the whole game (3+K), there are just way too many awesome tracks left out. Doomsday, Flying Battery (both acts), Ice Cap, Lava Reef. None made the cut.

Where Is Launch Base Act 2

what no marble garden music

I always had trouble playing Angel Island. Not because the level was hard (because it was piss-easy) buy because I'd be constantly bobbing my head to the music instead of concentrating on playing!

Wasn't expecting Sonic and Knuckles music too, but it IS pretty much Sonic 3 Part 2 lol

@HadoukenMaster1 Jackson composed a little bit of Sonic's music, but he wasn't satisfied on how it sounded like on the Genesis/MegaDrive. However, the credit song shares a strong reminisce to Jackson's single Stranger in Moscow. Listen to it and you can see...er, hear.
best 16 bit trilogy in my humble opinion, the sonic trilogy :)

I didn't really listen to any commercially-available music as a kid (CDs, cassettes, records.) Later on, I wondered why I didn't have any, since I love music so much. The answer is quite simple. I owned many gaming consoles with FREAKING AMAZING music! A lot of video game music, such as Sonic 1, 2 and 3 have timeless melodies.
A good song is a good song is a good song; forever. Anyone who hates on you for listening to "video game music", whatever that is supposed to mean can suck it. Peace.
