I really dig the tone of these Mule humbuckers. Extremely articulate...the bridge pickup is almost like a really nice fat sounding tele pickup as strange as that may seem!

Wow perfect tone!

How come you don't have video shwoing off you popular Irish Tours?
-
that's THE tone

Great playing. I love unpotted pickups; more airy and vocal sounding.

Just having my set fitted, can't wait.

@jacquesledick Yes the unpotted 'Mules'...They add more 'air' to the notes which mixes nicely with the amps reverb.Great for bluesy playing...

@BKPickups Sound great any downside to not potting them. More feedback?

@MELLSBAD Hi, it's the opposite really concerning potential microphonic feedback (not talking about CONTROLLED feedback). If your playing high gain style with pedals through cascading gain pre-amps you MIGHT be asking for trouble going unpotted. The reason we put this demo up is to demonstrate unpotted pushing the OUTPUT valves and the drivers. By pushing the output valves hard and with a good reverb in the amp it can add a very subtle 'tail' to long sustained notes.

@BKPickups But if i play heavy blues and very rarely use a fuzz, only cascade overdrives in the vein of tube screamers stuff. Shalli go potted or unpotted. Because even though i cant really identify the air, it does sound nice to say..lol!!!

@anmolatwal Hi, the 'air', 'resonance' is pretty subtle, you can hear it on the repeated A note around 1.17. Could be described as a 'tingle' which mixes with the amps reverb on a note's tail end. The amp used here has a simple circuit but pushed hard. If in doubt go potted !
