  • it is so crazy to see these pictures, i just came back from speicher this year. great video

  • @misskaracarter Welcome back. Make sure that you check out the Vet Center for re adjustment counseling. Some of us Veterans have written books about the War, check out mine (google) veteransbookproject

It is the one with the operating room picture for the front.

  • @ladycoralee thank you. Im a medic for 3-1 AHB out of ft riley. I didn't get to work in the nice big CSH, but worked in a small 3 roomed clinic on the airfield. Most of Speicher has shut down. But I will definitely check out the book =)

  • @misskaracarter oops, my book has the gunner on the Chinook. One of the pictures from my travels. I call the gunners, "the world's best flight attendants". When I was there during the surge, I had my operating room do all the instruments for every clinic on and off the COB. Was the CSH still doing your instruments? We were very busy back then. Hopefully with shutting down of the COB is was not so busy for you guys. Nice looking Fiancee' . Mine decided to run out on me while I was in Iraq

  • is this tikret

  • @agentz100 yup Tikrit Iraq. Were you there too?

  • Mah dad is in this vid :D hi dad lolz

  • God bless you guys

  • @ladycoralee Our instruments were actually handled by ODIN. We were the blackhawks and they were a unit out of ft hood who flew fixed wings. they has a spc there who cleaned our instruments and gave us news ones. We were more busy when we were in Taji, but in Speicher we only took care of one battalion. 3 medics and 1 doc for 500 people. Wasn't too bad. And thanks, stephen is very nice. My ex husband and I split right before we deployed, he couldnt handle it. But stephen is amazing

  • I was working the ER in that hospital back in 04&05. I thought I would never say I miss it but. Well I miss the friends. Thanks for putting this up..

  • @ladycoralee i am not in the armed forces in my young age yet but i read a book called paradise general on a hospital out there. It was the best book i ever read.
