Calorie Restriction, also known as caloric restriction, can be life-transforming. This introduction will help you understand what calorie restriction is really about and offers user-friendly approaches to make it easy. fun and rewarding. Right away you will learn the benefits and clear up some of the confusion about the lifestyle.

Remember, the words "calorie restriction" are used by scientists to describe their research studies. You are not a lab animal. The real terms should be calorie liberation --liberation from the idea that eating lots of calories makes you happy.

  • Been on calorie restriction for 13 months. Went from 190 to 138 lbs. I'm never going back to eating the way I did. So many improvements. All biomarkers improved. No more migraines. No joint pain. Less sleep, more energy. It works!

  • Having Read the CRWay where the authors suggest a fasting blood sugar in the range of 70 - 85 i was wandering whether this is FBS or FPG ?

  • I've been at CR for about a year now. The CR way was the first book I read on the subject. I decided to read the book because my old biology professor wrote the forward. I found the book to be both scientific and inspiring. I feel like I have achieved most of the typical benefits of CR. But I've avoided medical tests (even blood pressure) because, sadly, I'm the kind of person that gets really nervous during all medical procedures; my results never seem accurate.

  • Perhaps someone is around here who can confirm my theory that CR lowers sympathetic stress. The reason should be the lower blood pressure and pulse so both cannot rise as high as normally. At least I have experiences that when beeing a little hungry I am some kind of immune to "sensory overload".

By the way, i promote CR on may German Website einfach-jung.de, meaning simply-young ;-)

  • Thanks, Philip. Welcome, back! Good to have your comments enriching us on the CR Way forums.

  • Excellent Video Paul...... Glad to be back on the program
