  • Why do people call you mae sensei instead of phelan sensei?

  • @abby992 I'm not sure. I think it has something to do with the teachers perhaps read my name incorrectly and mixed my first and last names up, and then introduced me like that. It doesn't bother me, and changing it at this point would just be too much work.

  • I love that you called them jimmies. Most people just call them sprinkles...

  • @chanooa Massachusetts in the HOUSE!

  • You haven't had curry bread before? The chocolate thing is a chocolate coronet. There seems to be some debate among the Japanese about what end you eat first.

  • @KramInJapan Obviously you should eat it like an ice cream cone. If you eat it from the pointy end, then all the cream will poop out the top.

  • Meaphe is Konata or Kagami? Totes Kagami. You should eat the choco coronet by taking off the thin end, using it to scoop up the choco that squeezes out. Sigh. Where's Miyuki when you need her.

  • The Founding Fathers setup the Electoral College because they didn't trust the people to elect a President. Each state has electoral votes equal to its representatives in Congress (Senators + House reps). They are suppose to vote with the popular vote in the state but they could change if they the candidate is unsuitable as President.

  • @abby992 A lot of Japanese prefer to use foreigners first names. I think its because it is easier for them to say. Where I work, the J-staff all refer to the Americans by Firstname-san.

  • What are Jimmy's? O_o

  • Love you hair with the curls. Seems to really be holding up well!

  • The first bread item you pulled out are chocolate cornets, they are delicious, i am so jealous (since i am no longer in japan i have to settle with my own hand made ones),

  • Mmm.. Mochi. =w= Now I need to go buy some.....

  • tell them to say McDonalds or Hippopotamus XD

  • I totally play the Japanese-words-with-American-accent game with my wife. We'll scroll through the Netflix instant watch catalogue and say all the anime names with terrible American accents. It's usually only funny for about five minutes at a time, and then we have to find something else to distract us.

  • @meaphe Great verb usage.
