@klingsor93 I totally agree! beautifully atmospheric playing, for me on a par with Rubinsteins legendary account.

Classical music is truly great -- right up until it starts celebrating...itself.

She has an ideal hand position which looks so natural. An object lesson in perfectly developed technique. I'm sure Khatia has a glittering career ahead of her.

@michaellugansky She doesn't understands Debussy ? Why ? I'm starting to work on this piece, I need advices ! Isn't the Latsabidze version a little rude ? there's nothing softer than Debussy...

Seriously, if this is bad, then even abysmal must be rather pleasant. And, if a piece of music was meant to be played only one way, then one artist could have recorded this many years ago, and we could all just sit home and push the"play" button and keep our heads in the sand to anything outside of what is deemed right.

Very atmospheric and beautiful performance.

Giorgi Latsabidze plays better ALL Preludes by Debussy!!! highly Recommended!!!

It's Ok but I don't think she really understands Debussy! I think best Preludes of Debussy is presented by Giorgi Latsabidze. He recorded all of them from second book: here you find those on You Tube..))

Great understanding of the French impressionism tradition. One of the best "Ondine" I've heard,
and I'm including Michelangeli, Zimmerman, Pollini and even Gieseking!
Congratulations, Khatia!

What are you talking about? Measures 8-9? How is using two hands a "bad tech skill", especially since it's specified in the score with m.d. and m.g.? She does it pretty well too.
