@aabbklll101 And now a new attitude. My exes couldn't compete with her; they couldn't compare to her. I will not allow my regret to overshadow a new relationship; I will simply apply the lesson learned to the future and live again. It feels pretty nice to wake up not hating me anymore.

@aabbklll101 Don't end up with a bottle of whiskey and a gun. Make your peace with it and move on - there's someone else out there for you, but only when you're ready. It may help you to write about it, even if you only throw it away when you're done.
I finally put the memory of her to rest after 23 years. No bottle. No gun.
