Breath of fire 3 boss battle chronicles, Battle 6, Balio and Sunder

So here it is, the unwinable battle against Balio and Sunder, the two charlatans. This video has been skipped in many places because it took me about 50 pilfers untill i got that damn Protien off of him!

Firstly Ryu is not needed so let them kill him, you can let Teepo stay in your party if you want, but you will only get an extra 5% chance that balio will use a phsical attack instead of lighting, which i think isn't worth the cost in healing herbs, so let them kill him too.

In the first turn Rei(or peson who has it) MUST cast influence on Balio, this makes sunder harmless and its one less attack to worry about, from then on just use a cycle of healing and pilfering untill you get the protien, you can also get some rare equipment of sunder but i didn't have enough items.
