SCTV, 2/14/84 - "Stalag SCTV" - Pt. 2 of 4 - The crew is held in an internment camp by Guy while he carries out an investigation to uncover the spy. Still, Guy tries to get someone to see "Yentl" with him. Fred Winston (Willard), the new guy from the Xerox Dept., goes out of his way to kiss up to Guy, and immediately arouses the suspicions of the gang, while the thefts continue. Joe Flaherty, Fred Willard, Martin Short, Andrea Martin, Eugene Levy and John Hemphill.

Did they give up on the sketches in the last season and just stick to doing one extended story per episode focusing on the station characters? Or was this just an exception to use Fred Willard? You'd think with all the writers they had by then they'd have been able to write lots of sketches?

At first I thought Vic Hedges died when he got hit by that rib truck but then I remembered that was just one of LaRue's crappy movies and he was playing a part.

Too bad Captain Combat and Mister Green Fatigues weren't available for this episode.
