This commercial used to give me the creeps... I wanted to scream, "Run, Jenny, RUN!" I mean, "This is Jenny... but this is NOT Jenny's dad!" The way he said that was so scary!

I remember all these "Don't talk to strangers" PSA's from the 1980's because they scared the living shit out of me. Of course my mom also hammered this crap into our heads so when she took us out we wouldn't talk to anyone and she would get pissed and yell at us only to turn around and tell us we'll get kidnapped by strangers.

As a kid, I had no idea what kidnapping was all about. Why people did it and what to do if it happened to me. This commercial left way too much information out and nobody would answer any of my questions either. 25 years later, I'm wondering if these commercials were actually effective.
