First video of my soon to be 10 gallon planted aquarium. Going to try to do a video diary thing.
My setup:
- 10 gallon all-glass aquarium
- Marineland Penguin Bio-wheel 150
- All-glass 50 watt aquarium heater
- Nutrafin plant systems CO2 Generator/Diffuser
- GLO T5 HO 24" fixture
- Life-GLO T5 24w 6700k full spectrum bulb
- Flourite base
- 2 pieces of driftwood(Is that flora? me no knows)
Flora:
- 1 Java fern
Fauna:
- 2 neon Tetra
I plan to add many plants in the following weeks, as well as decideing what type of fish to add. Any suggestions are welcomed!
@cuteskittle Hob filters alow the exchange of co2 and o2, thus allowing the main ingredient for life for plants to escape. as a matter of fact anytime the surface of the water is broken o2 gets in and co2 gets let out.

You hob filter is not good for a planted tank look into a small canister filter.

I'd recommend considering 6-9 neon tetras, a betta/dwarf gourami, a bristlenose pleco (those come in albino also), 4 panda corys, a mystery snail, 2 ghost shrimp, and maybe an african dwarf frog
now THAT would be an ecosystem
