@dhylec *puts on monocle* Oh what a decisive blow you have made to my argument, I feel quite despondent now knowing that I am an ignoramus. Thank you oh, illuminated one.
But wait! Maybe you don't seem to understand what I mean by a "Versus" game in the classical sense. Or maybe you don't get the simple concept of having rolling to prevent even more ridiculous combos from occurring.
Do you realize just how many infinites, semi-infinites and loops were prevented in MVC2 just because of rolling?
@IndigoR It's illogical to say this isn't a versus game because of "ridiculous inescapable combos", when massively damaging combos are precisely one of the things MvC2 is known for, as well as guard-break and chip damage/lockdown techs (ridiculous!). Pretending to know about Marvel games didn't work for you here.
There's more wrong in your post but I'm not going to argue because, even putting your ignorance aside, you've proved you're the type of person that has baseless, unfounded opinions.
@dhylec Then it's not a Marvel game, or a versus game for that matter. This is not a new concept and there is a technical and logical reason why it has always existed, to prevent ridiculous inescapable combos like what we've seen Zero do.
This is game is going to be a joke without any defensive options like rolling, and combo breaker doesn't count either.
@IndigoR Likely not. In Tatsunoko vs Capcom you can't roll, OTG combos are as unavoidable as any other. I don't think anyone has mentioned a rolling technique in MvC3.
I guess it's a logical design choice. How often do you NOT want to roll in MvC? Since it's something you'd basically want to do all the time, requiring the player to input a command for it is extraneous and serves only as a technical barrier (same thing with L-cancelling in Smash). So they decided to remove the concept entirely.
I see that Chris is still in the habit of beating up Africans. Only it looks like it backfired on him this time.
I'm liking her voice and "retro" look, even though I think she's gone back to wearing that costume in comics after her (ugh) marriage to Black Panther. She even seems to have Fox cartoon-esque comments, though they're more concise thankfully. Her gray costume being an alt is pretty much a given, but I have to wonder if they'll include Mohawk Storm as another alt. Hmm....

Did anyone else hear the male character say to the female character, "Suck on this?" (0:47)
I thought so, too. I'm flagging this video.
