90's. See the Gibson ES-295 hollow body guitar. It is Geordie's "heart of Killing Joke sound" guitar model from 50's (1952-1957 I guess). Frank Black from Pixies has this one too. You can see it in Los Angeles music video. But Kingmaker's Queen Jane is great song, not the Loz Hardy's guitar only! But the ES-295 .... eeeeee,,e!

  • ahhhhhh...it's gratifying to know i'm not the only person in the world who remembers this band.

  • Great band - nearly made it - trouble is the bands that tended to support them did better than they did, they were true kingmakers

  • @TheLinz78 yh but im not sure what the chords :/

  • @WillTheFace the chords sound pretty easy to me...Give it a go, I'm sure you'll do a good job of it. And the guitar solo? Even I could play that! Good luck!

  • Hey iam from Costa Rica and sleepwalking was my first cd. Have great memories about this band.

  • @andreja0 GUTTED

  • Fantastic memories... my friend Niki and I hitched around the country after these guys in the early 90s. Happy days, uncomfortable nights trying to sleep in phone boxes. Really Scrape the Sky is still my favourite, but this one has my name in it, so... Queen Jane ftw. Hello John!

  • I remember seeing this video just once in 1993 on "super channel". Never heard of that band or song again. But I do remember being mightily impressed by the way the drummer handles the snare drum. Oh and those lovely English beaches!
