  • @in2horses247 its actually amazing how many of the olympians and upper level riders compete at lower level events. they tend to start out very young horses even much lower than intermediate. a few months ago i was at an event and watched boyd martin go beginner novice! some of my friends have even competed against them. it makes it so much fun!!

  • How did I get relegated to the show jumping team anyway - I want to do this ...

  • I didn't realize that big names like Karen O'Connor competed at the Intermediate level, although I guess even the top horses have to start somewhere.

And The Robber Baron looks like a lovely horse, great enthusiasm, speed, and jump but it seemed like Sarah Cousins was constantly egging him on with her voice and crop when it didn't seem like he needed it?

  • @crazyimagination They're nasal flairs. they're all the rage at the moment...

  • @crazyimagination theyre called flairs. its the equine equivalent of nasal strips so the horse's nasal passages stay open during intense physical activity
