@Getababyco I'm refering largely to the one in Leviticus. Not that I would go along with it even if that is the real translation. The Bible may be part of God, but it's certainly not the whole story.

@Shockwave474 Depends on which verse you look at but the main mistranslation of homosexuality came from words that meant temple prostitute and a man who "prettys" himself up for attention.....supposedly. That's just a few scholars beliefs since the words were barely used in any surviving texts.

@NESkimo The Bible doesn't disapprove of homosexuality. A group of men who got together and mistranslated different words in the Bible disapprove of homosexuality...along with other things that were mistranslated. But Christianity is all about open-mindedness, people just refuse to do so because they like being sheep following a crowd instead of learning for themselves and reading the book they follow.

@Raine20oo *sigh* This is just frustrating. See, religion isn't about being open-minded, or at least Christianity isn't. You can't just say you're a Christian and then not follow it's tenets. And part of that is following the Bible, and the Bible straight up says that God disapproves of homosexuality. But that's why I'm not Christian anymore.

@Raine20oo I've changed my views a lot since I made that comment actually. At the time I was against homosexuality because I was raised Christian and it's against Christianity, simple as that. I've realized I'm not not Christian though, and I'm all for gay rights because I think people should be able to do whatever makes them happy. I still stand by my original argument though, because, homosexuality aside, what he/she said about those lizards and clown fish was just false lol
