lol.. no doubt is awesome!!! and yeah i've watched kite and i love no doubt.. and the movie kite came out first.. i forgot what producer/director suggested to them to make a video with this anime concept but they knew it was an anime and they just did it anyway; and i think they did really good video on ex-girlfriend..

I gotta reply here. The original music video that No Doubt created for ex girlfriend was based off this anime. I made this video to compare the video no doubt made, to the scenes in Kite, to show the similarity between the two. Watch no doubts video, then watch this one. You'll see striking similarities.
