love Angel's "bargaining" with the street vendor. If you listen, she stays at "fifteen" every time while the vendor goes all the way down from $25 to fifteen. hahahaha.

I just music-directed a production of this show. This wasn't always my favorite moment to play (the keyboard patching was difficult), nor was it always the most intensely moving ("Another Day" can be overwhelming too), but it was my favorite moment musically in the show before we started, and it still is.

I didn't say that there was anything abstruse about the song. I said that I didn't like the fact that it was omitted from the movie.

have you seen the broadway version? because if you see it instead of just listening to this song, it'll all make sense. plus, to have so many things going on at once is a testament to jonathon larson that he could make it all work together and still have it sound amazing

Personally I think they should have added this to the movie some how. I was really disappointed when I didn't hear it!
