@plehdehgame 250's are solid bikes, great to learn on but that is all. When you get down the basics down after a couple months you'll find yourself getting bored and even feeling left behind. Try a GS500, its comfortable and rides well, and has enough power to keep you from getting bored after a short while. Course SV650's are solid bikes too, so when it comes down to it its your decision.

Just cut the wire in your cdi and its on full power , and you can always re attach the wire afterwards..
