Late 40,s style Tatum with a 12 tone row type ending.I purchased a used Kurzweil for almost nothing. Hate the tone and touch, however it is close to my computer where I can use finale software to transcribe the notes played.May be interesting for the hungering and thirsting. Trade secrets of jazz piano as it used to be played. All things should be in order hopefully by next month.

  • @jcracker

Me too. I have not mastered it yet but learned a lot trying.

    Thanks

  • Do you have a MIDI recording of this?

You got Art Tatum style down - VERY IMPRESSIVE

  • @kissvideofan

Thanks! Unfortunately I do not have any notes for this one. I keep saying I am going to get this software program working but need time and money.Maybe after the new year.

  • That was awesome! I am a gospel musician looking to enhance my playing. What exactly are you doing in the left hand? Is it 10ths? 9ths? Exactly how are you swinging so effortlessly? Any suggestions on what and how I can practice to strengthen my left hand in this style?

    Thanks,

    Eugene

  • Very Tasteful

  • @rkjp56

if u got the time I got the money - how much do you need? And do you give lessons?

  • WOW

  • Once again you touch the masters graces. This is difficult to do indeed, acoustic science now has a name for the shortest discernible musical period of time - which is aptly named a "Tatum". Even in a Tatum you seem to find Tatum- we'll done. Merry Christmas 08 all the best in '09
