So as you guys know, Adam lives on a separate continent than me, so when I perform here in Japan, I do it with a live band called Seven Way Kiss.

Arranged by Jack Claar (guitar) & Jun Sekiya. Shot by Genki Unno: (original link: http://vimeo.com/35001128)

Behind Blue Eyes by the Who, 1971.

Performed by Seven Way Kiss:

Rikitaro Suzuki-Cello
Jack Claar-Guitar
Matthew Sato-Cahon
Hikaru Kawamura-Vocals
Jun Sekiya-Vocals

Lyrics:

Verse 1:

Hey hey, what's the newest thing to do in the corner?
Melody rap nearly singing on the border
Blue eyes lie-blue eyes wait
For the audience, scared that you might fade
Writing a song, for you who might relate
I hope I can make you see my side from your side
More wise, four eyes, these ice blue contacts, pierce like war knives
Life in the combat
And these eyes are the soul of a whole self-conscience
These eyes dream worlds fantasy and nonsense
Tales of heartache made for art's sake
Make me look like a martyr of male heart break
So gimme a brush, and let the crowd hush
Tune into Jun as I mourn at the moon
There is the fact that the morning is soon
But I won't notice it, cause no one knows what its

Chorus:

No one knows what its like, to be the bad man
To be the sad man, behind blue eyes
And no one knows what its like to be hated
To be fated, to telling only lies
But my dreams, they aren't as empty
As my conscience seems to be
I have hours, only lonely
My love is vengeance, that's never free

Verse 2:

I see scenes, come pass my glasses like a slide show
I know, they there, gotta ask why though
Pursuit of happiness or retreat into sadness
What is it we really want, that is what I ask us?
Is it love, loss, or just release.
A stoic soul soldiering, love is vengeance
My love is vengeance, that's never free
These ice blue eyes see
A crowd full of life
No sadness, so pull the mic
Cause no one but yourself can relate to your troubles
Cause trouble is subjective, trouble is love left is
Love unfinished, unfinished, is it really?
I think the first song written finished it completely
And ever since then I've been taking out my contacts
Putting them back in just so I could sing some song tracks
Is that morality?
This is reality
Living in a fantasy
How is it from your view?

Chorus:

No one knows what its like, to feel these feelings
Like I do, and I blame you
And no one knows bites back as hard
On their anger, none of my pain and woe, can show through
But my dreams, they aren't as empty
As my conscience seems to be
I have hours, only lonely
My love is vengeance, that's never free

Outro:

Nothin, picture a lost soul sufferin, heavy headphones bang, don't listen to em
The corner, leavin the corner, leavin the corner, goodbye, letting it rest like
Nothin, picture a lost soul sufferin, heavy headphones bang, don't listen to em
The corner, leavin the corner, leavin the corner, goodbye, letting it rest like

Good bye my sad tunes
Good bye my dreamstates
Good bye my friend, cause of you I believe in fate
Good bye to times from seventh to the present
Good bye to shades of nostalgia pleasant
Good bye to sweet dreams made and colors
Before we depart, cause of you I made brothers
Because of you I truly came full circle
And broke the trailway, and walked that dirtroad

Thanks for watching (:

  • @egregiousness LB just screwed it up!!!!

  • @egregiousness that actually makes a lot of sence xD I never understood how lb went for 1 song from nu-metal to a really beautifull slow long and then back to nu-metal xD

  • @MissFunkuh its not by LB, its by The Who :)

  • Really awesome cover. I am just not the biggest fan of the rap part. The great thing about LB is that they were nu-metal and it's rock/metal combined with rap(core). Even though this is a really soft song of them, you can't let the rap part become lead. At least that is what I think, but damn you are all so talented :)

  • @rayonator500 good*

  • thought the vocalist could use some training, lyrics were goo though and the guitarist was the shit XD

  • Will you please add the lyrics to the description? <3 this and what the future holds

  • That really was great, I'm glad I subscribed to you and Jack so I'd be able to see this.
