    so wonderful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • this is the best fade to black played live

  • Live Metallica Forever.

  • @joshgts Creeping Death isn't about death... Just because it mentions death in it doesn't make it about death. It's about the Exodus. Call of Ktulu may have no lyrics but it's not about death either, it is about Cthulhu. Fight fire with Fire is about the end of the world coming by a nuclear warfare.

  • @joshgts

That Was A Fail Of A Comment, " Kurt " Its KIRK!

  • It wasn't just for the sole reason of losing his amp.

Yes the amp ordeal triggered Hetfield to write the song but he was pretty depressed about other things as well. Metallica was just thrown out of their managers place for drinking all of his liquor, lol. Also, don't forget this entire album is about death.

James along with Kurt, Cliff and Lars were experiencing feelings a lot of young adults get and they wrote about it. This song does have a lot of meaning...I can feel it ;)

  • @akstillbirth this song nowadays i think he's singin for cliff.

  • few people know the reason this amazing song was written; someone stole james' favorite guitar amp... so to express his angst, he decided to write a song about how sad he felt... knowing THATs why his lyrics are so sad kinda takes the fun out of the song.. i choose to ignore the fact hes sad he lost an amp, and liken it to the loss of my father or some other meaningful event... as long as i forget the origins, i enjoy the song.. please come back, old school metallica, we beg you

  • you cant get any better then this
