I often think of that quote. I read a comment of an American that said he was fed up on all the politics so he'd stopped voting. I've lived in countries whose population didn't have a choice of who their leaders were. The same leaders that forced young men into their military. Our rights include picking who we want to lead us. It's our privilage and it's just plain stupid to sit on you back end and not do anything. Anything that happens for those that won't vote, deserves to happen to them.

I'm continuing to enjoy the mechanical interaction he's speaking about in colaborations. I've only done this a few times, in the little non-descript short stories I've written, but had a very bad experience in that my writing was almost completely thrown out or rewritten to a point that my exstensive efforts were completely unrecognizable. So to hear his thoughts on his colabrative efforts is quite interesting. Great interview.
