i use to love/hate metheny. you know the "wow this is brilliant, yet it sounds awful." feeling.

Wow, I have the dame camera, may give it a go--I saw the trio do Q & A at the Elgin concert, Pat soared on the Roland, one of the great live performances I've ever seen. Thanks for the info & posting this great vid.

I shot it with a Kodak digital camera in video mode, and Christian was actually mixed pretty quiet. I've shot a fair amount of live musical performance with this camera, and I've always been relatively impressed with the accuracy of its sound capture.
I think the "OHMIGOD" might have been me...it was pretty damn impressive.
