Nintendo DS Lite Battery Replacement Tutorial (Resets Firmware)

Good morning. This is a video tutorial describing how to replace the battery pack in your Nintendo DS Lite. I made a video of this a long time ago, back when I first started on YouTube, but the original was quite old, low quality, and really needed to be updated. So, I hope you don't mind my posting an updated version here. I deleted the old video mainly to keep my projects uncluttered. I really like how this video turned out, and I hope you do too.

Replacing the battery in your Nintendo DS Lite is a quick little process that should only take 6-8 minutes, and is a good thing to know how to do if your current battery seems to not be holding as much charge as it used to, or if your DS battery light turns red after just a few minutes or a couple hours of game-play. Also, if you want to reset your DS Firmware to factory default condition, taking the battery out of your DS will do that for you. Upon boot, your DS will ask you to re-input your settings, just like you did when you turned it on for the first time after buying it.
