Visiting Home__ Preface to "The Wedding Book"

This post does not pertain directly to the Thailand project. It's an experiment of sorts. I wondered if I could cut and paste the text of blog entries into my editing program. It works. I wrote this and "The Wedding Book" while visiting my mom on the east side of Michigan. We always spent a few days together that week as her husband travels with an organization that raises hundreds of thousands of dollars for "Michigan Special Olympics." The lines mean more than ever since it was for my mother's last days that I had to leave the Thailand team a week early. You can read the whole "Wedding Book" story at
