Civic Engagement Canada 公民 動力 has held "A forum of Chinese Canadian in Politics" at 25th July 2010, Market Village of Markham, Ontario. The purpose of the event is to raise political awareness within the Chinese community, and to provide a platform for Chinese candidates to share experiences. There were 3 municipal incumbent including Alex Chiu, Chin Lee and Sandra Yeung as well as 12 Chinese Canadian Municipal election 2010 candidate including Ada Yeung, Alex Chiu, Carol Chan, Castro Liu, Chin Lee, Ivy Lee, Jim Kwan, Joe Li, Joshua Shang, Ken Chan, Kristyn Wong-Tam, Mike Yen, Sandra Yeung Racco, Sonny Yeung, Thomas Chong.
