OnGARD Resists:

Thrusts and strikes from a heavy sledgehammer

•Vigorous kicks from a 250-lb man

•Powerful side, shoulder and full body slams.

A fairly small, unobtrusive, two-piece mechanism installed at the base of the door, this particular door brace works by combining the strength of the existing door, door frame, and OnGARD brace itself. These combined strengths enable the door to endure the most forceful of blows. Although a criminal may kick and thrust himself against the door multiple times, it usually does not take long before his fear of being seen or heard sets in, causing him to give up on the attempted break-in.

  • Jamming systems are only as good as the deadbolt thats installed. Nothing is stronger then the OnGARD.

  • I reckon that not so many households use "open-out" doors.

  • true-

most outward swinging doors are located in hurricane prone states.

  • What is the door made of?

  • a solid core door- sheet metal covered-painted white

  • What colors are available? My locksmith is raving about the onGard. As soon as I have few extra dollars I will have one installed

  • Wow, that door lock device looks great! How much force can it sustain?

  • I heard that this door brace is made of polymer, an modern advanced material using on aircraft.

  • OnGard is not widely distributed to local shops yet. I only see it on Amazon and through locksmith that buy and resell at higher price.

  • betweek kick and battering ram, which one causes more damage?

  • The door is heavily damage because of battering ram!
