'Thumper' unit number 1302/207203 on the Swindon & Cricklade Railway. A new set of batteries had just been put on so the crew had a 'play'.

As you can tell, the thumper arrived at the right moment so we didnt have to walk back down with the kit we were carrying!

  • Great to see the Tumper out on the line, and congrats to your restoration team - they really have done a top notch job.

I much prefered the Thumpers once the put corridor connections in between the cars.

Just one comment mate, please, please, please, I beg of you, hold the camera steady. You wave it about like a flag, and it really gives me headache.

  • Thanks, its a very nice unit now.

Sorry about the camera being so shakey, I have trouble keeping my hands from shaking, dont know why they shake but the do lol.

Waving it about like a flag is usually because I'm in the middle of doing something else or not paying attention

  • Nice video!

  • Cheers, like I said twas very useful timing to get back down!
