Littleport, February 2006

Littleport is between Downham Market and Ely and still retains a signalbox and crossing gates. The station was served by First Capital Connect with services to King's Lynn and London Kings Cross and One with peak hour services to King's Lynn and London Liverpool Street at the time of filming. Rolling stock used at the time were Class 365 Networkers on First Capital Connect services and Class 317s on One services. Here we see a Class 365 Networker in Network South East livery stop at Littleport with a London Kings Cross service. Unusualy the train is held at the station for a little while but not sure why. This was one of my original films I had made using the first ever camcorder I had access to, so quality my not be great and there is talking in the film so please excuse it as the film was merely a trial.
