...And here's the band announcing that they can't finish the show because Jim had to go to the hospital :( He fell off the stage and onto the speakers right in front of me. It looked like it hurt a lot. Total rock star. They felt really bad about it, pointed it out that it's midterm week and told us to study hard. I love these guys.

Jim is my favorite musician in the world. I hope he gets better very soon. Nice to hear that he's released.

I was at this show. Right about where this video was taken...total bummer about the fall. Jim really wasn't doing anything spectacular at the time. I think he was just stepping forward a bit to finish the song. But the lights went out. I thought at first he was getting into the crowd, guess not. Anyway they did such a good job for those first six songs, I think it was hard for anyone to want to boo them for cancelling. Just hope they make it back to Iowa City. Drag bout the upcoming gigs.

I feel for the hugely talented Jim, the band, & for all the dedicated fans. My sis is a UI nurse; Jim's been released & on the road to recovery. My son & I were lucky enough to catch the show in Seattle on the 27th; we expected mere greatness but were blown away! The band handled a painful situation with grace, which, it seems, most of the attendees took their cue from. Iowa City (my home town) knows how to rock, and knows how to behave well! Great band; great fans. "The Hippies were right!"

post the fall... I don't understand why every fan is so touchy about visually seeing the fall... I'm a huge fan and just want to see and hear the fall for further evidence to suit my concern for James Olliges Jr

My friend and i were right behind these people at the show and he taped the whole thing including the fall. We're not gonna post it... too much respect. It was pretty dark anyway, you hear it more than see it.
