  • Nice! :3 reminds me of the moon. ^^

  • @Jazzy4lyf It DOES look like the full moon! I guess this technique would be a good one for drawing the moon....

  • You happened to forget the reflected light just at the edge of the ball on the darkest side away from the highlight it lightens up ever so slightly from light bouncing off the surface it is sitting on and onto the bottom side of the sphere. This creates a bit more realistic appearance but very good video post keep them coming. If you knew this and didn't have time to include it or were not attempting such a realistic result then good for you.

  • @tylersetterberg2323 Yes, you are so right! This is a basic shading exercise I teach to students who are learning crosshatching techniques for shading with pen and ink. If they can accomplish this exercise successfully, I introduce other reflected light, and interspersed light and multi-shading exercises... Thanks for your comment.

  • Help me... I got a dragon on my channel only by pen... What should I shade in? Cuz I'm lost with it. I got stuck :/

  • @victoria3552 The dragons are beautiful. Try pencil--its easier to shade and you can erase if you mess up.

  • the only problem with me is. i can draw literaly anything if i look at it. but i just cant draw from memory

  • @AKWARDUSER379 You are indeed talented. Most people cannot draw anything they see! And drawing from memory is a whole different thing. But you can do it, because you have good visual skills. Here's an exercise you might want to try. Draw a square about 4" x 4". Now close your eyes and think about something important that happened to you--could be good or bad. Now open your eyes and draw. Think of nothing else. Draw for four minutes. Look!. This is you and unique! Good!

  • @AKWARDUSER379 xD that is the exactly same thing with me! I can draw anything that I see, but when it comes to trying to draw my own without any resource images then I end up drawing really bad lol.

  • @swirloflight I will, thanks :)!

  • @VENUEATHENS of course alot of patience,....look how old he is, i mean damn!! it took him/her that long to draw..ahhahahhaha im just joking
