@Blondie10166 I had IPL on my face only. I did a full course (700 shots over 3 months). It helps, but it's not the most effective treatment for getting rid of freckles. It got rid of some of my freckles, not all.

@ThePickling where did you get the treatment done, like your face,arms,legs? did it get rid of any of them? because i have a disguisting amount of freckles on my arms and little on my legs

@Blondie10166 IPL is not the best treatment for getting rid of freckles. While it lightens them, after my treatment I still have plenty of freckles remaining.

the co2 laser is incredible for face freckles i looked like a monster for 2 weeks after but my full face face of freckles were terminated :) i had my full face done it one session ,not really painfull as such just burns so bad for a couple of hours after !! also it really tightened my skin and i had a few wrinkles ron my temples and they are no longer there i was really happy with my results other than the downtime i suffered for 2 weeks

@paulhagan29 My treatment didnt give as good results as yours! Perhaps it depends a lot on where your treatment is done?

@nowshakealittle CO2 & YAG laser 1x was about £60- a friend did it for me & I got a discount:) See my other VDO " Pt 2: 6 months after skin laser" for the final results.

can anyone tell me if these treatments actually get rid of sun damage forever or does it just take it away for a while but gradually comes back to the surface ?

@tharowkilla It doesn't get rid of sun damage. It fades SOME of the visible signs of sundamage, but not all by far.
