Most entry helmets from all the different brands nowadays are one size fits all. They have a lot of adjustment and dial right in.

I havent worn a helmet for 13yrs, but am thinking about buying one.
My head is around 63cm in circumference (like dinosaurs I have a small brain), and is the same shape as a loaf of bread - narrow frontally, but deep front to back (like the Alien in Ridley Scotts movie "Alien"), so its rectangular in shape. I guess I should go to my local bike shop and try some on, but any advice on which manufacturers produce rectangular, large helmets would be greatfully recieved!

giro recommends replacing your helmet after 3 years max as the foam starts to deteriorate and the effectiveness of the helmet itself is compromised.

When your Giro Pneumo pads turn to dust call 800-456-2355 . Tell them your size and they will send you new pads at no charge. I found out about this about a year ago on some blog site and it worked. The customer sevice was great. I think the number still works.

@jaysonness Thanks for the tip! I called today, and sure enough, just gave my helmet size and mailing address, and new pads are on the way. Excellent!
