Ford Pinto on the dyno, 350hp at the wheels

1970 Ford pinto on the dynojet chassis dyno at Motor Mayhem Service and Performance Center in Meridian,Idaho. 2.3 liter turbo coupe engine with an upgraded turbo. Made 350 hp at the rear tires. Had to have someone in the trunk because we couldn't keep it from spining on the dyno.

Had too, made enough that we couldn't keep it from spinning on the Dyno. He was there for weight.

Ha no it definetly made the numbers, He retained as much of the original look as possible even down to the stock 1 1/2" tailpipe sticking out of the back. The exhaust actually dumps under the car from a 4" setup.

It's amazing how much power you can get with turbo's. I wonder if it could handle another one. I'd like to see that!

This is one of my cars, and me in the driver seat, car has the following mods:

Bo-Port stage 3 head and cam, Bo-port header, Bo-port ported upper and lower intake, Turbonetics 62-1, stock 87 T-Bird 2.3L bottom end, PA automatic manual valve body C-4, w/5K rpm billet lid stall converter, 350 hp to the wheels with the tires spinning on the rollers, @ 18lbs, still needs more tuning.
