The Staples Center Arena unveiled it's new $10 million scoreboard and jumbotron on Wednesday, September 22, 2010, right before the preseason game of the LA Kings.
With this upgrade, Staples Center is now the most technological advanced arena in the world. In conjunction with Panasonic, the new 8 sided scoreboard can display HD contents.
The LA LAKERS play at Staples Center for their home games!!

That's pretty cool. However, you should see the Magic's new scoreboard at the Amway Center. It will blow you away. 42 feet high, 41 feet wide. It's like watching a 60" plasma tv in your living room. The Amway Center has over 1200 high definition screens in the arena. Even the elevators have them. It is a beautiful, stunning building.
